DR. HOLZMAN: My name is Dr. Steven Holzman. I’m a native Texan. I was born in Houston. I came to Austin for college and I always wanted to come back. I finally made it back after 17 years of training after high school. It was an enduring process. Glad I made it through and glad I made it back to Austin.
As a plastic surgeon my job is to be familiar with the most current procedures that are present today. What I try to do, and what I believe that I do, is tailor every procedure to that particular patient that comes in. I want to make sure that I know what the patient wants. Or I want to make sure I hear what the patient has to say and deliver the right service, individualized, to them.
My practice here in Austin and what I like about it, it’s a really great set up. I really like coming to work. I have a really nice office staff. On the first floor of my building there’s a really nice operating room. It’s convenient for the patients. There’s not a lot of hassle factor. It’s really easy to get in and out. I have a lot to offer patients in terms of experience. I like what I do. I’m a realistic person. I’m not a Hollywood plastic surgeon. I’ll give you something that will work for you. I’ll pick it out especially for you. I’ll think about what needs that you need and not just give you the standard thing. I look at everyone. Everyone needs to be treated separately and individually. And I think I do that very well.
I think I am a low risk taker. I wouldn’t do anything to you that I wouldn’t do on a family member or friend. I’m going to give you some good solid advice that’s reasonable. If you’re not a candidate I’ll tell you maybe that’s not the best thing for you.
