Breast Lift - Mastopexy

Over time, women’s breasts can begin to droop and lose volume due to aging, decreased skin elasticity, pregnancy, or dramatic weight loss. At our practice, we offer breast lift surgery, also called breast mastopexy, to help women regain the youthful shape, firmness, and volume of their breasts. Breast lift at our Austin practice is often performed in conjunction with breast enlargement to increase volume while elevating the bust line.

The Breast Lift Procedure

Depending on the unique circumstances of the case, breast lift surgery is customized to fit the needs and desired surgical outcome of the patient. During surgery, our doctor’s goals are to keep scarring as minimal as possible and to achieve results that will withstand the effects of further aging for as long as possible. If the patient would like to increase the volume of her breasts, our surgeon can enhance the lift using breast implants placed below the chest muscle to achieve a more dramatic increase in size and firmness.

Results of Breast Lift - Youthful and Natural

Women who undergo breast lift surgery generally achieve noticeable improvements in the appearance of their breasts. The bust line is lifted, the shape of the breasts is more youthful looking and firm, and for those who chose to simultaneously augment their lift with breast implants, a significant increase in breast volume is accomplished. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are walk-ins welcome?

A: No. Patients can only see the doctors by appointment.

Q: Can more than one plastic surgery procedure be performed at the same time?

A: Yes, but it will depend on what type of procedures are chosen. Your surgeon will be the one to decide which procedures can be performed simultaneously.

Q: Will my insurance be accepted?

A: Insurance is accepted on an individual basis. We suggest that you call your insurance company and make sure that we are on their provider list, since it is the patient's responsibility to know who is or is not on his or her particular insurance plan. The patient should never depend on the doctor or the office staff to know the details of the patient's particular policy.

Q: Does PSCA perform permanent make-up or hair removal procedures?

A: No.
